It's Good To Be Back

June 21, 2007

Well it has been a long time. I hope this greeting finds you all well and happy. I have been out of the loop for a while but wanted to give you a heads up on a few things I have been involved with over the course of last 2 years.

As you all know Robb Roy is only a memory now. We had a great run and finished while we were still good chums. Most bands are not that lucky. We keep in touch regularly. I have been doing a ton of voice work for various agencies in the Detroit area for products on TV and radio for Ford, Toyota, TCF Bank, and St. John's Hospital just to name a few. I have plenty examples for you to check out with more on the way. I need to get permission from all the different companies I have worked with before I can upload them to the site.

One of the first things I did after Robb Roy was work on a movie with Kevin Carrico, the director of Robb Roy's "What If" video. The sci-fi feature involved an evil corporation and the struggles of a valiant pilot/rock star played by Brian Vander Ark (of Verve Pipe fame). The film is in post production. It was shot on a sound stage that was painted blue. All the backgrounds are being created in post. It is a huge undertaking. I wrote a song for the film called "Look What They've Done" and hope to go into the studio soon to cut the finished version. Kevin has put the song into a scene and said I won't believe how well it works. I can't wait to see it.

A project I am really excited about is National Ghost. I was introduced to 5 song writers last March 2006 by a mutual friend. It was a songwriters collective, if you will. Over the last year we have written nearly 30 songs. It has been a wonderful experience and has really stretched me as a songwriter and singer. We are going to perform some of those songs together in July. For more info, please visit www.nationalghost.com or www.myspace.com/nationalghost.

Gabi at www.blackthistle.net has been good enough to help out with my site as well as the NG site. The NG site changes every time you open the home page with a different photo by some amazing Detroit photographers. Please check out the latest and have fun. I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Sincerely,
Graham
